Harmon Magnum Stoker...can I use a thermostat?

I have a Harmon Magnum Stoker but currently I am not running it off any type of remote thermostat. My question is, Can I hook up a thermostat and if so what kind? Also, how exactly whould this be wired up?

I bought a Honeywell digital thermostat from lowes for about $30(my used harmon mag did not come with one), ran the wire from thermostat to stove. Worked great!

what year is your stove ?? and where are you located @ also is it a super mag or just a magnum stoker ?? because the super mag has a room sensor, thermostat is located on the control box

This is actually a Super Mag. I bought it about 4 years ago now. So, is it as simple as just hooking up a standard (cheap) thermostat?

it is a super mag then you will need to hook up the temp sensor on the unit the control on the super mag a=has a built in thermostat

look on page 20 of the pdf for the control box settings, and page 18 for the room sensor settings,

if your control box / stove does not look like the one in the manual you have a mag stoker let me know i do have a pdf of the manual here for that model

How did you make out? I found a used Super Magnum and want to hook up a thermostat as well. The room senor I see on web sites reaches only 25ft. I need it about 40 ft or 50 ft. for placement upstairs in my living area.
