Coffee 9-29 a day early

Coffee 9-29 a day early

Yikes! Nothing like early coffee & here you have it. Maybe Fast Fred will freshen the pot in the morning but for now we are headed north. Uncle Billy has not missed once in 50 years of "going to camp" at least once. If we don't go NOW, he's going to miss it. Long story short..... it's been two years tomorrow since mother in law passed away & now the nursing home is going to reopen....Uncle Billy is coming to live with us.

Gotta go! Hope you all enjoy the weekend.

I know the feeling.

Don't know as I'll check in tomorrow. Have to be at the range early for my "Citizens Police Academy" class.

Sig Sauer .40 instruction byt SWAT members. :D

Even if it's raining, I'm going to have a good day! :P

Maybe an iced-coffee is in order right now. Gotta be 85f outside.
I was setting up forms at our church to pour a slab for the A/C units to set on. I start mixing Saturday morning. Any volunteers? Its just 36 bags of Concrete mix, 80 lbs each. I dump about 6 bags at a time, in my loader, add water, and mix with hoe.
In the afternoon, I might double-check the DVC-500 and make sure its ready for heating.

Sweeet! 8-) I sent my wife to a snub class for training with her S&W 642. She learned all kinds of great defensive techniques. She even had to bring an old pair of jeans that the instructors wife cut up & sewed together, to simulate shooting thru a pocket on the second day of class.

Friday already! Man, time flies by when your pounding nails 12 hours a day!

I figured out that I laid down a total of 2,780 lbs. of shingles, or 770 individual shingles, and pounded roughly 4,000 - or 20 lbs.or so, of nails in.

So smashing my thumb only 4x ends up a fairly good ratio ....

So the government sucks unless you need them. :?: Sorry couldn't resist. Just jealous. As long as I stay here, no 2nd ammendment rights for me.

I'm drinking coffee now; had a way late breakfast of fried spam eggs and home fries for lunch.

Waiting for just 2 good days to seal a driveway.

Chris I would help you if not so far away. I have an ancient Sears mixer one of my favorite toys.....

Looks like the night shift finished off the coffee from yesterday, so I put a fresh pot on. 8 O'clock coffee this morning, just run through the grinder.

45 degrees and raining this morning. Most of my job list includes things outside, but I'm in no hurry to get cold and damp. I shut the EFM down on Tuesday, and it has finally cooled off to room temperature. I need to get it brushed out and ready for action tomorrow. My dad started his EFM yesterday, so he is ready for the season.

You're a good man Rob, coffee tastes outstanding, got that UPSTATE pizzaz. 52* and way overcast here on the hill, got my NEW tire chains yesterday for the rear of the plow truck ( post pix later) that's about all I got scheduled for today--not much traveling with gas at $4.05 :( Oh well, have a good week end all.

$4.19 for regular up here...I am not looking forward to filling my plow truck this weekend, I bet it will take 30 gallons to fill it. The gas in it now is pretty old, so I am trying to get it burned out.

Fred, It's great. I'm finding enough to do everyday. I meet up with Senior Jim Aiken a couple of times each week for coffee and we go to the Willet Senior Center every Friday morning for breakfast, if you're not busy and you got your chores done, why not come over the hill and join us, we meet there about 8:15.
