Does anyone have a coal delivery guy that they would like to share in the central ny area? I live in Oneonta and the guy I used last year went out of business. I'm looking to get 5-6 tons delivered. Thanks for any help

Chevymatt,

Poso coal in Dryden, NY delivers. Stoyell Coal of Moravia,NY delivers and also Dennis Coal of Fabius, NY. Not sure if they would go to Oneonta though. Bet a premium delivery fee would be involved if they did. Might be worth a call to them because they may know someone else in your area.

A few years ago I talked to a farmer in Oneonta that was running an S260...it might be worth a call to see where he is getting his coal. Check your PM's for the info.

Look at this older thread-

Where to Buy in Chautauqua County NY?

I believe Frost Builders supply has stopped handling bulk. They were a bit expensive anyhow.

The cheapest place for bagged coal is the Amish blacksmith shop on Route 62 in Leon.

I don't know of anyone that handles bulk coal West of Olean, NY.

I have been toying with the Idea to start a small bulk coal and stove business for a little side income. I would be interested in knowing if anyone has an interest in bulk, where they are and how much they think they would buy per year.

Clymer, NY - Wally Miller @ Church Street Supply 7163558867 sells bagged Blaschak by the skid. Last year was 324 per skid. (270 per ton).

Anyone know of any bulk suppliers closer to Erie, PA?
