Yep, getting a photo I.D. here in America is an impossible task alright. That's why it's unfair to have any laws or order whatsoever.
NJDMV used to be just as bad. I think they privatized it, but they really got their act together years ago. Just re-registered the Ranger $75. No line, took literally one minute.
However, when I went to renew my driver's license, had to go back with more I.D.
Imagine this scenario: If I somehow got pulled over in the DMV parking lot as I went in to renew my driver's license; say my brake light bulb went out at that exact moment; and the cop asked for my license; it would have been VALID I.D.
Then, upon going in to renew it; it is not valid I.D.!
I had to go get my passport, birth certificate, high school diploma, and that was just barely enough for them.
But it's an outrage to require photo I.D. to vote.
