Let me get this clear, when Obama wanted to just raise the tax on the wealthy & named the loopholes he wanted to close you all said it wouldn't come close to helping with the debt. Noe Romney wants to give everyone a 20% tax cut & close unnamed loopholes + cut other taxes & happy days will be here again. Talk about living in a fantasy land. I guess this is a case where less is more.

Sam

Nothing is going to help the Nation Debt until spending gets under control. Obummer like all left leaning pinko's doesn't understand that simple issue. You cannot tax a country into prosperity but you can kill a country with taxes. Even the "lefts" JFK understood that lower taxes makes a nation strong. Though brother Ted didn't get the message.

And then he tripled the debt and became Celebrident Obumbler. You can't be saved, your hatred of "the wealthy" is too deeply ingrained.

Most people like dogs, but are annoyed by constantly barking dogs left out alone and hungry. As a man with the worsening disease of liberalism, you are not able to comprehend that a government, hostile to free enterprise, puts a damper on jobs.

Imagine giving The Bamster a coal stove. He would give all the heat to the outdoors in winter and cut off the air intake, then blame it on the deliveryman. That's not how you keep a coal fire going.

If there was a lawn shortage, Maobamarx would decree that all lawns have to be scalped. He doesn't get it that you can let the existing lawns grow to seed, and then there will be enough seed to have nice lawns for everybody. Liberal logic.

One Dollar, you forget that the country was in good shape under Clinton, remember Bush gave the tax break because it was ours then he went into the first war & kept the tax break, then war #2 & kept the tax break, then the Scrip. plan again not paid for then the TARP not paid for.
Dann, where has he tripled the debt? He got in on the downhill side & stopped it, what happened before him isn't his. You can save your constantly saying I hate the wealthy, it's been old & now is getting asinine, I don't kiss their butt because I make my living off them but I don't hate them. I do however hate the fact that they control the laws with lobbyists & make them all tilt in their favor, I don't call those that avoid taxes owed by doing so true Americans, I don't call those that get deferments to avoid serving their country Patriots, I don't think anyone is better than someone else just because of their position in life. It's what you do with your life & how you conduct yourself & treat others that is the making of a man.

Hey that would be a good lesson for Obama.

samhill wrote:I don't think anyone is better than someone else just because of their position in life.

Then why are you a liberal?

Hard to give a different response to your constantly recurring dogma.

Same ole same ole. Blame Bush, after four years what is happening now IS HIS NOW. Oblamer, The Great Divider.

I don't kiss rich people's asses, I do business with them. If they disrespect me I take my talents elsewhere.
If you want to hide behind your veteran status it's your choice. If you think Obama has any patriotism then explain to me why he is gutting the military by half a trillion dollars, while he has enraged the muslim world and the PRC is building aircraft carriers. Explain to me why The White Hut is circumventing The WARN act just before an election in order to pre-empt layoff notices to defense contractors. You wanna eat the chow, but bite the Halliburton that feeds you.

When asked a question I try & give an answer, it may not be what someone wants to hear but none the less it's an answer. When I ask for an explanation of how something that Obama proposes may or may not help & you shut it down then how in the world will reducing income more but saying basically the same thing other that that all of a sudden work? I try to not borrow but for big ticket items someone with my income has little choice but I know sure well that reducing my income even more isn't going to help pay things off.
Never said what happens now isn't his, what I said is what was left to him was just that left to him, it didn't go away but it has gotten better, on the other hand if he were left in good shape & ran it to ruin I wouldn't blame to one that got it left to them for what he did which is what your doing. Changing of the guard doesn't start you off like a new game 0 to 0, you come in & start with what you have.

I'm sorry you think you have little choice. That is the mentality of impoverishment. You could go to Ebay, buy a wholesale lot of widgets, and resell them if you really wanted to increase your income. It takes more effort than bellyaching though.

Granted. But this isn't the starting off point. It's four years later with the same empty promises and ideology driven administration.

That's why Romney is the better man by far and why he won the debate. Obama has had the guardhouse for four years and now look at how polarized and worse off the country is after all his grandiose speeches preaching unification.

The makers vs. The takers.

And on the off chance he was successful, he'd have to fill out a bunch of paperwork and pay MORE money to the government. Good plan! :D

I wasn't bellyaching about anything, the debt I have is managed, I can pay it off unless I would somehow purposely decrease my income which was the point.
If it took 8 years of failed policy to just about put the whole world in a depression it doesn't go from 60 to zero in a heartbeat, it's going to take time & it is happening despite everything the party of no is doing to try & stop it from happening. It's Congress that's polarizing the nation along with a lot of good old boy mentality you can easily see that in the Congresses approval rating, how low can they go?
The debate is only round one, even Gingrich said you can't win a debate if there is nothing but lies. We'll see what happens next but even more important on Nov. 6th, we for the most part will all be heating with coal by then.
