Nothing will change in this country until we can have a viable third party, and that's damn unlikley. The system is rigged against it. I'm not a religious person at all but I believe in many principles put forth by religion. Remember the 7 deadly sins?
Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride. IMO all of the worlds problems can be traced to these. I would add organized religion as the 8th.

I think it won't matter in the long run who is president. We are way past a point of no return. So this morning I am announcing the formation of the I don't give a crap party. Vote for me.

Dann, I didn't answer ED saying how a temp. reduction that may go back up is somehow a new tax & how his state tax going up is a Fed. tax. The rest is mostly HC related which the supreme court decided it was a tax (it was not before that) & most of the article had to do with what big business used to be able to right off or not pay on & now will or personal tax free use it or lose it H.I. plans. Why should everybody else have to pay a tax on what they earn & on medication but if you have one of those plans it's tax free? What they did was take the HC plan & break it down into small chunks & called it separate. Like going in a check out line with 10 items & saying you paid 10 taxes rather than a sales tax.
I know Conn. has high everything, my sister & B.in L. live there as did my mother & G.M., my sister & her husband were just here 2 weeks ago & he was thrilled with the prices. The cost of living is different all over the country, you can't blame everything that happens or has happened years gone by on one guy.

Obama has been lying and working against us from the get-go. Ostensibly to bring social justice to every living soul; but in actuality another brutal plan to establish a central government that negates the Constitution. The candidates are NOT one and the same.

It's my opinion, correct, but it is formed by 4 years of the worst policies I have seen in my lifetime; and by the documented and obvious checkered and sinister past of Obama. Romney blew the facade off the failed policies and ideology of the worst president in our history; with facts, leadership, successful, moral, American values, not willing to continue gutting our military while China builds aircraft carriers and the muslim world riots due to the inept leadership policy of appeasement. Not willing to throw Israel under the bus, not willing to tax small businesses more and burden them out of existance.

Like I've said before, the bottom line is this:

Change needs to start in YOUR TOWN, and work it's way up. This isn't going to happen overnight. It's going to be a long, painful slog. We can't just jump with both feet into the fire and elect Ron Paul - believe it or not I'm on board with 90% of what he says, but it is what it is - it's going to be dem or Rep. That's the way it's always been, and the way it will be this election.

If you want that to change, start on your street. If we all get involved locally we can make some big changes at the top. It's just going to take a bit of time ....

I got to agree with you SMITTY, it all starts at home a little at a time. We now have a system that is too deeply entrenched & it's going to take a long time to change no matter which way you or I think it should go isn't the point. Sadly that goes with most things as education where way too many have no family support, one of the biggest problems we have today.

That can be fixed too. If people would accept God back into their lives, instead of shutting Him out at every turn ..... but I digress.

The "Anybody but..." attitude is what got us Obama but now you are SURE it will work?

You have to fight with the army you brought, but you are bringing General McClellan to Virginia.

I've yet to hear how Romney is going to "save" anything.
