I've got to go with Romney's presentation of himself tonight. Not Rep. or Dem. Just an old farmers thoughts. What do you think?

I agree romney did well. Flipped on msnbc afterwards, even the commentators were saying how well romney did and that obama seemed off his game.

Romney clearly came across as a man who knew what he was doing, something Obama failed to do.

I like coal but love natural gas/oil/fracking and anything energy. I love the fact that with a national energy policy (that includes coal/nuclear/solar etc.) US can become energy independent in the next ten years if we put it on a war footing and actually elected ourselves a government who could govern. Now if only we can stop the ignorant, left wing lunies from destroying a part of that vital energy spectrum that we desperately need, we could actually turn this place around. Let the ME descend into chaos and bring our boys home now (geez). Barry must go and we need to dust off the coal industry and say sorry boys, we need you and appreciate your efforts. Phkn idiot.

Last night showed that Obama is an empty suit without his teleprompter. I hate insulting coat hangers but the truth is the truth.

Mittens was clearly on his game last nite. Was impressed how he didn't let the moderator change topics and let Obama off the hook on his mistatements.

For CNN to say Mitt was the winner and MessNBC to skirt the issue by saying we'll let the voters decide who won was all you need to know. Farthead Ed was getting so pissed at Obama (for what he percieved was meekness) which was hilarious. :)

I'm not sure how much weight these Debates have on voter "Sway", but I really believe you'll see more polls showing a tightened race (Like NBC's 2 days ago where MItt closed a 6pt, gap in 1 week) and their attempts to say Obama polling numbers are through the roof will be down played now that Mittens is kicking sand in Obamas face.
Once they stop polling +9 Dem's you see more accurate numbers.

It has often befuddled me that there are those people that think everybody except the one's they choose to believe, are lieing??? Not a very open minded approach in my world.--EX: I listened to RP as often as he availed himself & personally felt he was WAY unrealistic, but probably did real well in the worlds of the Timothy Leary, Alan Ginsburg, Abby Hoffman crowds

Hopefully 50-60 million people got the left wing propaganda soap washed out of their eyes last night. Romney was steadfast, presidential, dignified, very well informed. He looked Obama in the eye with every response. Most agree that Obama went on the defensive; used all his standard talking points and accusations.
Celebrident Obama is used to being fawned over on the View, rare press conferences, being propped up by the left wing media. He, as predicted, couldn't run on his failed record, failed foreign policy, and simply could not effectively dispute the facts Romney was ready with. He looked annoyed, infuriated, humiliated, dejected.
Now watch the spin control by the Loser Picker House :D

Well said Dan. I watched in amazement as Obama stuttered and stammered, lugging through the answers like the tired V6 running on 4 cylinders that I yanked from the Blazer.

Romney was hitting on all 8, full bore. EXCELLENT job he did.

The more I learn about Romney, the more I like him. He wasn't my first choice way back when, but after learning of his character, I have no doubt in my mind that this country NEEDS this man as president.
