Rice coal near Hagerstown, md?

Hi I am looking for a good place to get coal before I purchase a coal stove insert. We have a local supplier here in Hagerstown but it s 268/ton or 15.25 for 69 lb bags. Seemed like a lot... We are right on the southern pa line near waynesboro, chambersburg etc. Any help would be appreciated, my head is spinning lol. Thanks!

You can always call Blaschak, Kimmels, and Reading to see if they have dealers near you. Bagged coal is $300 per ton near me, $268 is still very affordable heat.

I would stock up at $268 per ton of bagged. One of the quotes for a TT load I have seen 257 ton. Buying at $268 a ton and have some one else handle it is a deal.

also there is a bagging place called earth and fire supply, in Tamaqua, PA good product they do ship bulk coal loads virtually anywhere call them 570-668-3802. Ive burned almost every brand and theyre right up there.

Call Cameron @ Helman's Coal service. They advertise Stove-nut-pea-rice-buck-rye and hardwood pellets. I bought nut last year and was happy with it. He is right outside of Waynesbor on the way to Mont Alto. I do not know what he has at this time. Good guy. I think they deliver.

Elligson Trucking in Freeland MD has rice coal for $225/ton. They deliver all the way to DC and beyond so they're probably nearer to you.
