Need help on power inverter

I have a Alaska Channing 3. I was to get a deep cycle battery or 2 and have an inverter incase the power
Goes out. Does anyone have this or pics of theirs? Not sure witch brand to purchase,
I will be using optima batteries. Thanks for your help.

If you search this site you will find opinions but you definetly want a pure sine wave inverter.

I too agree the electric motors prefer pure sine waves. The clipped sine waves make for unhappy and noisy motors at the very least.

Here's my Sunforce that is a pure sinewave and cost under $200 it is a 1000 watt unit and I was able to make a pot of coffee on it with a 950 watt coffee unit...this unit is awesome.
