2012 Coal Prices

Hey fellow coal burners,ordered up my coal and the price has jumped a bit from last year,$335.00 a skid (2400 LBS) -$282.00 a ton. Was wondering what everyone else was paying. Also , who sells bulk coal in the Erieville area 50 mile radius. thanks in advance for any info.

baddawg,thats great news. Iam only 20 miles from woodford brothers.went past there place last weekend. Looks like there putting in new scales. just got 6 ton packed and stacked in my basement, wanna go bulk next year. Thanks!

Chester, glad to help. They seem like decent people, bought our LL stove from them last year and got our coal there as well. Little

Here on Long Island they are getting $325 loose / $375 bagged. Same as last season. Unfortunately a bit expensive, but cheaper than oil.

Dealing with Poso. I had a great transaction with him. Buddy of mine got his there also. To be honest, I'd had never heard good things about Poso. Rude, bad service,high prices. I am very glad I went ahead and gave him a shot. Very nice,great service,good price. I will go back.urdahere wrote:Baddawg, Where are you getting coal in Dryden?
