Yeah he went the total opposite way on that. I think your right - probably a good strategy this late in the game. Anyone with half a brain can figure out he's already won if they take a couple minutes to research all the falsehoods Obama spewed out on each debate.

It's interesting to watch Obama speak - you almost WANT to believe what he says is true ..... but then you look out your window and see for yourself the sky really isn't green ... and 1 + 1 doesn't equal 5, no matter how hard you try. Just asking, wasn't here & don't even know if the site was but if it was how much discussion was there on the time line on the 9/11 twin towers attacks as to why warnings weren't heeded & exactly who did it & such? Seems that we would have attacked the Saudis right off the bat since most were from there, I know it took years before a final report.

OK BB, just who was it that I stood up for in that statement? The U.S. for not going in with guns blazing & not knowing who did it or the ones that did it & had not yet owned up to it. Better yet what would you have done? I'm wide awake, it's not that I have any problem what so ever in getting those that did it but it sure would be nice to get them & no one else, don't forget there are probably a couple thousand Americans there that are defenseless.

Interestingly enough jpete, I was given a Koran that was translated into English not that long ago by a Muslim,came for an education, never left, whatever, highly educated and such and so forth. I have to say, when it comes to unbelievers, that rant is not all that wrong. If I was an American, and took up Islam, I would think after reading through that book I was rejecting everything this country and Christianity or any other religion is about. Period. It leaves no room whatsoever for living with or "getting along" with anyone outside THE religion of the Prophet. I only skimmed it as it was set up so I could go to the relevant chapters. They were brutal about dealing with the Jews and US. There is no god but ALLAH and he is a jealous and violent god. Kill the infidels.

Klook, besides the fact that Jpete thinks you are lucky to be alive if you interpret the Koran that way with that fact & the fact that the Koran is the only religious book that I can think of this early that hasn't changed. How would they have such a deep hatred of us when we didn't even exist? If you go back in history there were an awful lot of people killed in the name of various religions, they were all brutal toward non-believers.

I didnt get it from a muslim, it was left in a foreclosure and my brother brought it home. And what do you know about the private thoughts of either of those two men? Ali used it to dodge the draft and Stevens was a stoner looking for enlightenment and found it outside the mainstream. Many blacks went to it because it aligned itself with militant groups and went against the whites and their christian religion. That is still true today. It appeals to the disenfranchised and smart leaders make them feel disenfranchised.

When following the Constitution has become "shrill" and "the lunatic fringe", then the country is already dead and who wins the election doesn't much matter.

We all want to follow the constitution, but it takes a strong leader to lead. The country is in trouble but it's not dead unless Obama gets back in. Try not to react emotionally.
