No emotion here Dan. Telling it like it is. You let me know where the Constitution calls for a standing army occupying 130 countries around the world and then we'll agree that you want to follow the Constitution.

The constitution is part of what makes America great. Most of it. But this has become a complicated world more than ever. And there are other aspects to the real world, realities we must face. The Obama admin. threw our ambassador under the bus and tried to cover it up for political reasons. They want us to think everything is just jim dandy in the muslim world I guess.
If we were to pull out unilaterally the world would descend into even more chaos, don't you think?.

The world is only as complicated as you want to make it.

It doesn't matter what I think about how the world would react if we pulled stakes. I know what the Constitution says and I know what guys like Jefferson and Madison intended.

The Constitutional remedy is to amend the Constitution. If people wanted a standing army and bases all over the world, then it should be a simple thing to pass an amendment.

I wonder why the Muslims are not rampaging against the Chinese? They most assuredly are not believers in Allah, nor are they likely to ever be. But then again, I don't recall hearing of Chinese drones, etc...

Glenn Beck's network has solid information that 2 MAJOR MEDIA NETWORKS have ALL the information regarding this attack, but are sitting on it. There is much more, but he says due to his sources, he has to remain cryptic about it to protect them. If these media networks do not release the information as they are obligated to as Americans, then he will expose them. Turns out, Newt Gingrich's report is 100% spot on.

We're in really REALLY tough shape when you cannot even trust the media to report the truth about our government.

What's even more sickening is seeing Obama all over the television during Hurricane Sandy, claiming "we leave no one behind" .... unless your a Navy Seal in Benghazi I guess ....

People in this government need to do the honorable thing and come forward for the sake of our country. If you don't say something, then your as guilty as the president.

One can argue that it's unconstitutional to have a standing army outside the borders of the US, and still recognize the incredible stupidity of the response to the events in Benghazi.
