1600 M
I have a 1600 m and am trying anthracite stove coal this year . I have been burning wood the last 5 years, but its seems to use too much wood. IT either overheats my home,or cloggs my chimney . my house is a 1600 sq ft farmhouse . I believe the unit is oversized a bit, especially as I begain to insulate my home. my thought was to burn coal and just damper it back as needed. anyone have a 1600? ANY THOUGHTS?

Why if you haven't burned coal yet are you starting out with stove coal and not nut, nut will be more forgiving and you can burn a lower fire with nut.
