I didn't say what Japan did was right or wrong. I said it wasn't our business nor was it our right since I didn't see "protection of the world" in the Constitution anywhere.

You call yourself a "Tea Party" person. You'd think adherence to the Constitution would be something you'd want to do being as it's right there in your mission statement.

As I said....neo cons and people afraid of a black man. It's too bad too. It wasn't like that when the Ron Paul Revolution started morphing into the Tea Party. Only when those *censored* Dick Armey and Glenn Beck jumped on the band wagon did things go downhill.

I don't know who Dick Armey is, if you don't like him he's probably a patriot. Don't forget, Glenn Beck, who most of us admire; exposed the avowed communist Van "give dem da welf" Jones and got him kicked out of the Ocommuna administration.

Personally, I just had a nice conversation with one of my mixed race friends yesterday. I lived in a racially diverse neighborhood for ten years, in the most diverse state in the union, New Jersey. Hey, that Benghazigate thing isn't looking too good for Obama is it? He likes to pretend "his" one accomplishment of getting Bin Laden ,eliminated Al Quada. Remember the famous photo of him in the situation room? Look close and you'll see they had to give him a jacket to cover up his golf shirt after they had to pull him off the golf course that day. Maybe he can still pull off that lie until after the election. Or maybe he'll just take off to Venezuela and you can appoint the nice old baby doctor as leader of the free world.

OK I'll take that as you're upset that Ron Paul was just too quirky to have a sensible go at the Presidency. Remember he was asked in one of the earlier debates about how he would treat Iran. He got BOOED when he said, "With the golden rule." Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism, capiche? This is all just opinions flying back and forth here, but the proof was in the pudding that Americans don't take Ron Paul seriously. That's where he lacks leadership.

I don't quite know where you're coming from when you post a really good post about " A great political ad", that most of us appreciate; and then rail against the same republican party.
We all know about the military industrial complex and the munitions makers that The America First movement that cried out about it even before WWII. Just saying again, that movement dissolved when it became apparent that the very survival of freedom depended on us fighting back with everything we had, and quickly.

If I go to war, I want to use the W. T. Sherman philosophy of "total war".

The ONLY way you "win" is fight until the enemy is unable or unwilling to fight back.

I probably wouldn't have supported going into Vietnam to begin with, but once there, get it over with quick.

So you are saying that following the Constitution automatically disqualifies someone as a leader? Why do all leaders take an oath to defend the Constitution?

I hardly believe being booed in a roomful of neo cons "proves" much of anything except that neo cons LOVE killing brown people.

As far as Iran being a "state sponsor of terror", I guess that depends on which side of the bomb you are on.

Afghanistan is a perfect example. When the Mujhadeen were fighting the Russians, we called them "freedom fighters" but when they are fighting us, they are "terrorists".

Same guys, just shooting different people. And the kicker is, we funded them then and we are funding them now. How much money are we still shipping to the Middle East?

Imagine we pulled out worldwide right now from every US base. It takes time though, months. Would that make you happy? And THAT wouldn't lead to other global conflicts? I think I get your concepts, I just don't like to rail against my own country like you do. I don't really care if radical islam is brown or purple, I know what the intent is.
