Yeah I felt it, but as usual I did not know what it was at the time. I am about 21/2 hours away!

I think one of the reasons why it was felt so far away is because of all the bedrock (ledge) we have in New England. I am a farmer and can tell you, we have plenty of it.

I have sisters in Kennebunk and Sanford. O yeah they felt it. Sounded like a train coming through the roof from the Kennebunk sister. Must have been a good one.

Felt nothing here on the N.Shore. Didn't even know about it till well after the "quake" had happened. Though the dog was acting funny in hindsight.

Felt it in southwest, NH. It came in as a rumble then a mild shaking.
My calculations show that I am 91 miles from the epicenter.

I felt it here also. Thought a HEAVY truck drove through my living room. Jumped up and could see nothing. It sure got my attention! Cell phones appeared to be out of service, but we later learned so many folks were trying to find out what was going on, it overloaded the network. It was a rumble like being near a BIG dynamite explosion. Shook the entire house! Thought I'd had the 'puff back' from HELL! Must be all that mining of coal in China.....    :?:

At the time of the earthquake I was on the phone with the "GF" over in Ashland, NH. and we both felt it at the same time...
Each of us are about 75 miles from the center. Both our houses were shaking. I was in the basement and also thought the Estate Heatrola was having a big old Puff Back. like WN said, it sure got my attention ! Over in NH the glasses were rattling and moving on the shelves.
