While surfing around ebay last night I saw this...
**Broken Link(s) Removed**This is obviously a new product and it makes me wonder what else might be around the corner Chubby wise. Think I will give a call to Larry and see what is what.

If my little Jr needed one I would snap one of these up in a heartbeat. Having owned a stove once that needed an oval to round adapter I would have loved to have had a cast iron one. :)

I just spoke with Larry a few days ago and he told me he just started making cast iron oval to round adaptors for the Chubby stoves. When I purchased my refurbished stove from him in March he supplied me with a steel adaptor that a friend of his made. He told me that he planned on making cast iron adaptors in the near future. Wish they were available last season. Looks like I may be purchasing one soon!

That's the ticket! Might try that for my cookstove although it might be a 7"to 6" ? Need to measure.

Very well done. Larry is making high grade things and a cast iron adapter is a good complement for a cast iron stove. Probably could fit on many other stoves
Thanks onedollar for sharing the info

Speaking of fitting other stoves. I spoke with Larry and he will be checking to see if this adapter will fit other stoves as well. He mentioned about going over to Barntable Stove, http://www.barnstablestove.com and check things out with some stoves they have.

ONEDOLLAR

I could use a 6" round to round 90* elbow with a check damper in it if you have any pull with Larry, very nice product he has made though.

Maybe he could recast some Glenwood No 6 parts too ?

I bought my 1909 Glenwood Baseheater No. 8 from Doug (Owner) of Barnstable Stove in July and could not be happier with his service. Doug stands behind what he sells. He has a very nice graveyard of antique stoves to choose from too.

Dennis just linked me to this. I see the listing for this oval to round adapter has ended. Is this the product that Larry is making? And can I email him and buy one still ? I really want one of these like yesterday!
Heck I actually might want two!

I spoke to Larry yesterday and today through email. He sent me photos with measurements and I compared them to the warm morning oval flue outlet. It looks like it is a perfect fit for the WM 414a as well. I am going to buy one and try it out and report. That will open his market to sell to the WM guys as well! It's like Christmas before Christmas

Here is the WM deminsions if anyone was interested.

Josh, resize those pix so they are easier to see. If you don't have it, check out microsoft power toys resizer. Quick and easy and free. Just a right click and choose your size.

Steve I am doing most of this from my phone . I upload via FTP To my site but I used an email trick so tell me if that is better. The files should be in Kb now instead of mb.
