November--Military Family Appreciation Month

November--Military Family Appreciation Month

Something to remember. This was started by the Armed Services YMCA back in 1993 & has been being recognized by the US Government every year since. These families sacrifice a lot for our freedoms, lets not forget them. These people are definitely not getting rich doing what they do. A simple thanx pretty well covers it ;)

Not gonna let this get lost no matter what else is going on. We as a society have to deal with crisis's on occasion, these families deal with it 24/7/365, sometimes with ultimate sacrifice :(

Your right Fred & we have to remember that a good if not most part of our current military are a bit older with family where the children are unfortunately living for long periods with out one parent & in some cases both are deployed. As Americans we sometimes tend to become too self centered & as long as we are comfortable we forget that everyone isn't & it isn't only wars, many have been called up for the natural disasters as we have now even if their own homes may need attention they go where needed.
