Yeah, what the hell is this Halloween thing you speak of? That's something I used to partake in when I was a child but now it no longer exists with the apocalyptic weather we are subjected to every fall now. This is ridiculous.

My Halloween costume.....

I'm going to put on an oversized stuffed shirt and have a balloon coming out of the neck hole, have a recorded message containing multiple promises playing out of a speaker tied to my rear end and sit in a wheeled cart since I won't have a leg to stand on

and go as a politician.

Well, for one I'd take my two year old daughter trick or treating. She hasn't had a real Halloween yet.

I'm betting that 2 yr old is not as critical of life as us older farts & just going out with Dad is plenty enough to make Halloween REAL. Hopefully she won't grow up thinking it's only about the glitz. Just a fun night to eat to much junk ;)

I had 1 Halloween visitor all nite. A 4 yr old girl, (brought by her young parents that we knew), who wasn't wearing a costume, and forgot her bucket. :?: I guess even the spirit is waning.

Not up this way. Even in the worst of snows or whatever, the kids still dress up, as do the parents & go out & have fun in spite of it all. Just remember, people make up the spirit of things. Joe, I've had 2 kids in 15 yrs & they were both mine--Yeah, I'm off the beaten path ;) Dave, outstanding pix my friend :)

Apparently, there is trick or treating today so we are planning on taking my daughter out. I honestly don't see the point, Halloween was a few days ago. But whatever, I guess I'll tag along. It's better than sitting around a dark house.
