Here in MA. The temps are finally starting to drop a bit where I think it is becoming time to fire up the beast.

Can't wait to start feeling that wonderful heat!!!

P.S. Still waiting on my coal delivery from Squire Lumber. They said about 6 weeks. I only got about 2 more to go. Then I am all set. hehehe

Same here. Looking forward to lighting the Jr up and keeping her lit. Though part of me wouldn't mind getting through November with temps in the 60's. Sure would make the winter more tolerable.

X3 on the temptation to get her roasting, but the temps here are still almost 60 daytime highs too. Altho it feels OK at nite, my little 1500sq/ft farmhouse reaches about 80-85 daytime (with the Surdiac on), which isn't too pleasant in my book. (Altho my wife and kids probably wouldn't mind).Besides that, I'ld hate to "pollute" the air anymore than I have to. Don't want to "tic off" Al Gore anymore than necessary.
