Cleaning soot from oil burner baro damper?

Cleaning soot from oil burner baro damper?

Thank you in advance. :)

What would you recommend to clean soot off the (gate?) of the barometric damper that has accumulated on it. Do you think it's also a good idea to use a wire brush to clean all of the inner parts of the baro damper?

Thanks again

probably the best or quickest would be a can off brake clean and 5 gallon bucket with rag or brush
