Sam, I'm sure if Romney had won, you, homecomfort and the other left wingers would be singing the praises of Romney this morning and pledging to work together with republicans. Horse crap! All this election did was waste about 3 billion dollars. The country is as divided as ever. By the time he's done another 4 years, this country will be done, if it lasts that long. Yes, I'm one of the doom and gloomers. Four years ago obama pledged to be an inclusive president. The first thing he did was literally shut out all republicans from the health care process. I don't expect anthing more of him this time.

Your last post you mentioned the conservatives getting their own country. We already had one but it's been taken over by "takers" of all stripes. Where do I sign up for my obama phone?

Maybe instead of going off and buying a country we will just take ours back from you bleeding heart libs. I now understand how brother fought brother in the civil war. I hope the house of rep. blocks everything they throw at us. Live free or die.

Those who really care for the good of this Country and the ideals is was founded on are obviously now in the minority. The voice of Reason has been drowned out. The looters and plunderers now outnumber the producers.
You people generally always win ultimately, much to Humanity's great sorrow. Mob rule over Individual Liberty. My Dad saw it coming, as did most of his generation. I am only glad he didn't live to see this day.

To all the conservatives: Quit the doom and gloom bullshit (if you are one of the doom-and-gloomers). He has been in office for 4 years already, and you are still alive. There are still some checks-and-balances in government, as the founding fathers saw fit. He can't set a lazer on "make illegal" and target everything you know and love. I hear you on lots of things, believe me. Obama will never take my guns, nor do I think he will honestly get very far trying. I am a big supporter of defense spending. Especially when it comes to outfitting our soldiers with the best gear money can buy. That is money well spent and the profits stay in this country, making their way right back into the economy. Honestly though, the whole "pro-life", anti-sex, anti-birth control thing just has to be dropped. Same thing goes for opposing gay marriage....Who cares what other people do in their own homes? They aren't negatively impacting you in any way. ESPECIALLY if there is ever a hope of seeing a conservative in the white house again.

So, in order to win we have to sell out to what the other side wants. Sell our morals, beliefs and the actual definition of who we are as individuals. I don't think so. I can't do it. I don't piss and moan, but I was raised to live off the land, and I suggest all of you who rely on Wal-Mart to provide you your daily bread learn how to do the same. I also suggest everyone has at least 4 weeks of food and water for your family. AT LEAST 4 weeks.

We have to face the facts, whether you are a blue'r or a red'r, we are headed down a slippery slope. You cant owe other countries TRILLIONS of dollars and not expect that country to one day knock on our front door and want it back. And by want it back, I mean TAKE it back. Think Red Dawn. So what do we do?? We print more money, which in turn lowers the worth of the US dollar, and further pushes us to the brink of an economic disaster. Look what a hurricane did to NY and NJ. Lines for gas, no power for weeks now. Imagine what a collapse of the economy will do, now imagine it in 50 states. Imagine no gas, no trucks running, no food in the stores. Think it can't happen? Get in line with the rest of the drones or just say BAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH like the rest of the sheep. It can happen, and it will if we continue on the path we are on as a country.

I just found out today, and this is no lie, that EVERY single inmate that gets out of prison and into a half-way house will be getting a free cell phone, with internet access, and 300 minutes a month. Who do you think is going to pay for this? Who is going to pay for Obama Care? We are. As the prices go up, our wages stagnate and we get taxed out the ass.

I stood in line at the local grocery store and watched a mother of 5 pay for a cart load of food with food stamps. Ok. I understand hard times. However, stuck to the side of her head was an I-phone. How the HELL does she have an I-phone and she needs food stamps???

When you can live better sitting at home on your ass collecting assistance and getting Obama care then I can working my ass off, putting my life on the line every day, with a college degree, I have an issue with that.

Something has to give. Something is going to give. Every super power falls. When China comes knocking, what are going to do? Give them NY? Give them California? My dad is 78 and he told me years ago that I better learn Chinese. I said "whatever old man, you are paranoid". I was a dumb kid. This year when he turned 78 and we were sipping single barrel Jack on my back deck, shooting the breeze while he put his new Crimson Trace laser on his Kahr .45, I told him he was exactly right. He knew it then.

My fear is for my 4 small children and what they are inheriting. That is why I am teaching them the same lessons I was taught. How to live off the land, off the grid if neccesary.

I just ask that you all be prepared. Dont be a sheep to the slaughter. Have a plan, be safe, be aware, and always be ready. It could happen FAST. Think Russia. Think Africa.

The one bright spot that I see is that things have to get a lot worse before a leader with enough political muscle to do what is needed can be elected.

The election of Obama is the best chance for that to happen.
