imho there are the 43% that blindly vote with the left and the 43% that blindly vote with the right. give or take a few % but it is about equal on both sides.
The % that are left are the ones that each side is trying to get the majority of. Its a small percentage of that middle percent that actually vote for the candidates based on qualifications and not on a media produced sound bite. I don't think that small % saw a big enough difference between the two candidates to vote out an incumbent. There will be a future R candidate that is 'TV ready' and slickly packaged that will sway that middle % enough to win.
Besides, if Romney had been elected I don't think there would be much of a difference in the direction of the country than where we are now headed. Wall St would have the same backroom influence as it does now and did under Bush.
Demicans and republicrats.....its the same tune, just a different instrument playing the notes.

Today (the day after the 2012 election) is no different then it was on this date in 9000 BC...God is sovereign and he reins. My hope has never rested in a single person, even if he is the most powerful person in the world, but my hope rests completely in the Lord!
Some say another 4 Years of Obamaism is God’s way of punishing this country, but the Lord does not work that way. He is loving, gracious and patient. The Lord’s hand is gently cupping this nation because from our inception...an ideal my Great Grandfather died for on top of Bunker Hill, was a nation that was wrought straight from the bible, and as such, is not God's bare hand upon this nations backside because of who we as a nation voted for last night.
God knows we are a nation filled with people with morals and Christian values but have been misguided by wolves in sheeps clothing...
He knows we have never gone to war and taken any acre of land for ourselves, but have scores of lives fighting oppression, fighting injustice, fighting tyrants trying to wipe out his Jewish people. Our wars have never been self-fulfilling, they are for the betterment of the people all around the world...God’s people…everyone.
The outcome of this election may be a surprise to millions of people, but it is not a surprise to God. He has exactly the person he wants in charge of our nation, and like most of this nation, I too voted my hopes; for Mitt Romney, but since God has chosen another leader, my obligation is to trust God and to do as he commanded…just as he commanded the early church who had a far more oppressive government leader…to pray for our leader.
I fear FOR President Obama because it is clear individuals are accountable for their actions unto God…but President Obama? I do not fear him.
