Nice to See Were Back
I am in my 2nd season of heating with coal, it's warm and great and I learn alot by sitting back and watching everyones post. I see the site back to normal with the colder weather. Just want to say thanks to everyone and keep posting. Jeff

I love this forum because you can talk about anything, and many people here are like minded.
To me it is like we are all virtually getting together through the magic that the internet is as if we are huddled around an old pot bellied store at the general store and talking about farming, politics and of course coal mining. Some come and go, some are almost always here, and yet others like to antagonize; but overall it is a community of great people.
I think it is kind of ironic that these politicians try to have town-hall meetings, yet they do not come anywhere near as authentic as this place is.
So pull up a railroad spike keg, gather around the ornate pot bellied stove of yesteryear because Freddy has his hand on the fire box door and is about to toss in a big shovel full of bituminous coal and I am sure there will be some discussion to follow..the heating season is on.
BTW: The snowplow just went up over my hill as I typed this for the first time this season.
