Obama's response was playing the Roe vs. Wade card; targeting, the single female vote.

The voting majority doesn't want good paying jobs. They want food stamps, free health care, and free money.

As I stated in a different thread, the sum total of all third party and write in votes cast would not have changed the outcomes in any state sans perhaps Florida, and in the end Obama did not need Florida.

Honestly I don't think he mattered in any key states. The real blame this year is to all the supposed republicans that didn't even vote .

There are many places to lay blame. I stand by my comment that all votes for Gary hurt Romney and Romney alone.

Helping the GOP is like trying to push a half dead beached whale back to sea. The GOP threw up tons of road block to stop any grassroot efforts to help or change them. I know I tried! I have a liberal friend or sparing partner and the one thing, politically, we both can agree on is Ron Paul. Gary Johnson is an option too. I think next time I will be focusing on the Libertarian candidates. I think it's an easy sell to most folks. Folks like thier liberyties and most can agree on fiscal repsonsability. The social stuff is a different story. That is between you and your maker.

I voted for Gary Johnson.

Obama won RI 62% to 35%.

Johnson got 1%. I was hoping he'd get 5% so the Libertarian Party became "official" in RI.

I am not going to argue with either of you about it. As stated, I admire your convictions, I support Ron also. But any vote not for Mitt hurt. Use your overwhelming logic Jpete and admit it. Don't try to justify your position by throwing out percentages.
I agree with mr1precision. A shift has to occur and abortion, gay marriage, and other social issues need to go bye bye. You can stand on the deck of your ship and read your bible all you want. At the end of the day your ship still sunk.
