I'm new to this forum and am excited to see the good things people have to say about the Crane 44. We have one that a customer gave us, and we want to start using it asap. We plan to vent it out the fireplace chimney, as described in another post on here. Our town inspector wants us to have the manual that comes with it. Would someone who has a manual for the Crane 44 be willing to scan theirs in and email it to me, or make a paper copy and mail it? I can pay you for your time (and ink if you print it.)

There is a member named dcrane that made those stoves with his father, he last visisted this site in June, I think.
You could send him a personal message at the top of the page, but like I said he has been absent.
If you use the search funciton in the upper right and read some posts, you might find a member that has one of these stoves.

I have the manual for the crane stoves, and specifically the # 44. That little guy will impress the hell out of you. 40K for such a small rig...and bulletproof. Good choice! PM me an address or email. It is an excellent coal burners guide.

I have two PM's active for doug crane right now. He may be away for a while....
