Dilemma: My 'Kill-A-Watt' meter is upside down

I just purchased a 'Kill-A-Watt' meter to monitor electrical usage, and then I realized that the 120 VAC ground plugs in all of the electrical receptacles in my home are "up" and the meter requires that they be "down". The meter is nigh on impossible to use and read upside down.

Is there any ready made adapter plug that I can purchase (short of a power bar) that will go into a standard 120 VAC receptacle and flip the ground to the bottom?

How about a three prong extension cord?

That or a power strip will work, but I was looking for a tidier solution to my dilemma.

There is no mention of this, but I guess I could have at it and see if I can flip it. An extension cord or power bar strip is sounding a lot easier though,

This wouldn't be an issue for me, I can read upside down. LOL

Take a picture with a digital camera and then flip it !!!!

That is exactly what my daughter told me to do this morning!

I went ahead and installed it on my microwave, and I'm learning to read it upside down. It took 0.02 KWH to heat my cup of coffee in the microwave.

gaw, standing on my head makes me dizzy.

I know I'm crazy, but I did take it apart and flip around the LCD panel just for grins. It didn't read (display) anything that way. Luckily enough it worked again when I put it back to its original configuration.

LOL... what I meant is there way to flip it within the setup menu or whatever they have. You might want to research it, you won;t be the only person with this problem.

I'm blaming it all on the electrician who wired our house and installed all of the 120 VAC outlets upside down, but that was back in 1964, and I doubt they imagined and issues with it back then.
