I will say this though, I would feel sorry for them if they tried anything around here because we're armed to the hilt out this way Sheeple that live in dense urban areas where only the criminals seem to be armed would be in trouble.

Do you really think that if the Fed. Gov. was going to wantonly kill American citizens their choice of all the arms available would be handguns? And what possible reason would they have? Boy I'm glad I'm a registered Dem.

It seems that some need a history lesson on what "govt" has been known to do to it's own citizens throughout the ages.

The govt is elected by the people's majority! Hence, we as a whole nation must come together on commonality narrow down the most important two or three things that we want to see happen and hold our govt responsible for getting it done...what a great idea!

You still didn't answer the question: WHY does Obama get a pass ... but GWB gets CRUICIFIED ... even 4 years later!!

SMITTY...I don't see where GWB EVER did this particular thing while he held office! If so, when? It makes economic sense to "buy in bulk" at a cheaper rate....as I'm sure you well know!

Honestly...Bush was and still is an idiot...I voted for his father...but never voted for him! WHY...because of his running mate Cheney...Cheney did some long lasting significant damage to the area I live in and we have never recovered....Further....WMD's in Iraq that were never found...shall I go further?

Right Jeff...it's all about playing to the majority(s) to maintain control.

The framers knew the dangers of majority (mob) rule and set up a limited govt so the minority doesn't easily get railroaded by an insane majority, but even then it can be hard to stop abuses of power by the corrupt elected who hold the ideals of special interest groups (TPTB) above anything else while simultaneously pretending to satisfy and serve the interests of a misguided majority.
This has happened for a long time now and last week proves that we're living this today.
