Who besides Harmony has red ash anthracite?

Being about 300 to 350 miles from anthracite heaven I don't know much about who mines (or distributes) what, but I was just wondering if any other sources besides Harmony exhibit pronouncedly red ash?

Are all of these mining within a close proximity to each other. I.E., is red ash coal from a particular vein?

Generally speaking, you will see a lot of red ash coal from the Western side of the Southern field...more volatiles as well.

What is your agenda?

Just trying to get educated here. Where does Lehigh sit with respect to this matter? Red or white ash? High ash content, normal, or low?

When I spoke to them a few weeks ago they said their coal was blended from the four veins they were mining...and was running around 10% ash. Another forum member posted some pictures of the ash produced...it looked white/grey.

When I burned Kimmels bagged nut, the ash was definitely reddish - not off white like the Blaschak of the same size.
