So what do you do? For the betterment of my family and farm I end up being a leach for society, yet it pains me to see my daughter wear ripped sneakers to school and watch good farmland be washed away. I won't get all sappy on you here, but I have to admit these past few weeks I have really been down in the dumps because no matter what I do, it is either not good for my family, or good for my country, and that is a spot that sucks to be in!
Huge difference brother. Your situation is one that I don't mind paying for. The row of low income housing down town I do. You are a hard working individual who is in a tight spot, there are a lot of them out there, and you need a hand. That is what America is about, helping our own get back on their feet. This past years drought wrecked a lot of hard working farmer's lands. Our government NEEDS to step in and help these people.
The problem lies with those who WON'T even attempt to get back on their feet. Those who sit and eat free meals in their free appartments with free heat and don't even bother getting off their fat asses to find a job.
I love hearing the "there is no work" excuse. Do you know how many out of state plates I see lately for all the fracking jobs? I have people living around me from Texas, Montana, and Illinois that are here because of the natural gas work. The jobs are out there, but as long as our government continues to give hand outs, people will continue to leech.
