Door Glass Gaskets
I'm in need of some advise. My stove manufacturer went out of business several years ago so finding repacement parts in nearly impossible. I'm currently needing to find the best place to buy some tape gasket that goes around the glass in my door. I have looked at or called all the local hardware stores and stove shops around my area, would any NEPA members be so kind as to point me in right direction of a supplier? Thanks in advance.

Couldn't you just pick up some flat gasket ( I think it's 1" width) & fold it half & half around the glass? I do it that way on my Hitzer. I sprayed it some with water to make it more pliable.

The stove shops should have the right thing. It is a double row of fiberglass of about 3/16 width with a sticky backing. You peel off the backing and apply it to the glass in a U pattern.
Picture two rows of fiberglass with a space between of about 1/8 inch. Remove the backing paper and bend the fiberglass around the glass. There will be gasket on both sides of the glass.

Yep 80 ft. for $177.?? is probably more then enough for 1 door glass-- I still like my 1" flat gasket idea even more after seeing that pricing
