I just read that red ash indicates iron (makes sense) and that iron means it is mined shallow (not sure if that's true).
Anybody know how deep was the stuff being sold at Harmony #1 lately?
I just burned my first stove full tonight and did not notice a lot of volatiles yet.
Someone pleeeease tell me there is no danger that the stuff they sold me is anything less than the awesome stuff I got last time.

That is not true. UAE is an underground mine, and there are a handful of others with underground mining permits...but I don't know how active they are.titleist1 wrote:I didn't think there was any deep mining going on at this point, all are surface mining operations.
