Just some thoughts while we watch the country go insane

Since we all all here to read and learn and teach, I thought that I would express some thoughts.
I have been there and done that, as most will say.
We all have been there, done that. We just have been to different places.

I read this thread here Taxes explained with beer
And just had some ideas pop in my head.
Not everyone can become successful.
But those will not become successful in anything, including life.
Some are poorer than poor or some richer than rich, but consider themselves unhappy...therefor unsuccessful.

Just find a happiness inside yourself and with your family.
Do what it takes, and take what it gives you.
Dont beat yourself up over bad things, just take it as a life lesson and grow from there.

Dont follow what other sheep do.
Be the black sheep and learn how to make yourself take care of yourself. Be a big boy.
Do not rely on someone or some entity to take care of you, that cannot care for themselves but still try to take care of and fix everything else.

Read some books written by wealthy US citizens.
Some that were handed the silver spoon, and some that were SOL until they made a dream into reality.

Always remember one thing....

Some say the words, you are what you eat.

While others including myself say, you are only what you prove yourself to be.
Prove to yourself that you are better, that you can do it and that your world is only how you CHOOSE to live it.
You are your own reality. You are looking thru only your own eyes, and you are
walking with your own feet and talking with your own mouth.

Money is typically what makes the world go round, and there is always money floating around.
It is up to YOU to git yourself some, whether it be sticking your hand out for handouts
or choosing to work hard for a return on your labor, sweat or educational thoughts.

Then sit back and be happy.

However the world or country turns out, just stand your ground and fight for what you believe in.
Be a patriot, be a father, be an employee, be a giver, be a brother, be yourself.

I like reading some threads here. People post some funny stuff and also some stuff that fills us with rage.
I like em both!

Just my thoughts...

high school drop out
7 year hard drug user
done jail time
worked union 5 yrs
broke free (could be two definitions there)
got a life
father of three
sitting happily, personal space heated by coal.
35 yrs old

i'd gladly buy you a beer

Yep well said, be happy for what you have not envious of what you think you need, as Flyer said the richest things are family & health take care of both.

ohh, and although the Black Friday thing is for the economy...

I am not going to tell you what to do...but we stay at home.
That is crazy!
If you do go out, please be safe.

Amazon, Ebay and tons other places having online only sales...and from what I saw
they seem to be just as good if not better.
It is safer, saves money on gas, dont have to stand in lines etc.
