They probably wanted to avoid having iPhone photos of it on Facebook within 30 seconds of the burial.

Also, none of those links are really legit "sources" of anything.

well I tried to find the ones I remember, they were CBS, FOX, MSNBC, NBC, BBC, ABC, New York Times, Washington Post, ect, should I keep looking... oh CNN as well.. also a few of our generals and some congress critters.. don't take my word for it, see for yourself...

Why not? the biggest score yet and they want to keep it under radar, no, no sense in that. And WiFi on a USS? really , a connection to the world from a war ship..uncontrolled.. I don't think so, But I would believed the story had that been the case.

It would certainly make sense from an intelligence point of view to "make" him dead. They could gather intel from him and they could do it anyway they wanted. I know certainly if I was in Al Qaeda I would be operating under the assumption he was still alive and blabbing away. If he wasn't killed during the raid he's most likely dead now or sitting in hole rotting somewhere, I actually prefer the thought of sitting a in hole slowly going insane.

In any event who cares? He's been eliminated as a threat and that is all that matters.

Grumpy if they wanted to show him dead even if he weren't dead they could of done done that, the conspiracy would still be he's alive. If he were shown alive the conspiracy would be he's dead. LOL.

There is lot of sense in what they did, he's just gone...... There is no final farewell for his followers, there is no shrine, there is no burial place. This was a well thought out way to handle this and easily the best decision they could have made.

Dammit !,Sam.....This means my Plaster Of Paris Casting of Bin Laden's Footprint is bogus too ! It was free,but they charged me a low $49.95 shipping and handling fee to cover getting it to me. I waited 4 to 8 weeks for it to arrive,and now it's meaningless......Crap !.....
