I hear ya. I threw a ham on the smoker this morning and just finished having some with my wife. My two year old didn't want anything to do with it. Got plenty of left overs now.

We ate earlier than planned. I probably could've put the ham on the smoker at around 4 and it would've still been done by 6.

White breast for me too. I would've like a Turkey done on the smoker but the misses doesn't like Turkey.

There is a round pan, shaped like a wwI helmet under the rack the turkey sits on, I put a pint of fresh apple cider and 3/4 gallon water in it, this regulates the temp of the smoker, keeps approx 200*. the water slowly cooks off and is replaced by turkey drippin's. End up will a big bowl of apple, misquite, turkey flavored heaven! :woot:

Just had a fine dinner with a Welshman and his English wife, great discussion about all the things to be thankful for here in the "Colonies". ;) Always enjoy bantering with folks from different countries about what they love and hate about the US. Mostly, they love it. Enjoy the rest of the holiday for those that have tomorrow off. For the rest of ya, back to work!
