Considering the necromancy involved in such a feat, I'd definitely be in line for that.

Does anyone else find it ironic that Americans spend the most money on new things the day after they say they're grateful for what they already have?

I can always count on Mark Dice to make my day. I still remember him trying to give away a $1,700 one ounce pure gold coin for $50 and getting no takers. Then it was $25, etc... and still no takers. He consistently proves how dumbed down we have become as a nation.

Not quite as dumb as it appears. If I were offered a valuable coin for next to nothing I would suspect it was fake which is what these people probably felt.

That area that I live in was really not that bad today.

I do not go out for the midnight or 5 am stuff. I rolled into the shopping area at 10 AM.

went into sams club and got exactly what I wanted (they still seemed to have many of all of their specials in stock)

then to Home depot and success was met on 3 more items and again... lots of them still there.

I don't know if they just are stocking more items or what not. Or i just pick the things noone else wants maybe. hehe.

By the time I got there all the early risers were gone or at breakfast somewhere so it was clear sailing. Worked out well really.

PS this video clip from wood and coal. what a sad sad society...

My wife says to me this morning, 'Lets go out today. Get some Christmas shopping done.'

I calmly replied, 'Ahhh...yeah, sure but lets go after I put the propane kit on the generator dialed in on it.' As I walked out the door at 09:30 this morning. When I finally came back in the house it was 16:30 and I said, 'Don't you have to get ready for work?'

She then said, 'Yes, I took the liberty of ordering some gifts for the kids on the computer.'

She was crazy to think I was going to go stand in lines with the rest of the animals today. I don't give a rat's ass how good the prices are. I'll gladly pay full price for my kids Christmas presents if it means I don't have to stand in line with idiotic savages.

Bought some new tools at Sears and Home Depot Black Friday sales. Sears was really packed Thursday night. We were going by the store as we were returning home from our family Thanksgiving dinner. Friday morning wasn't too bad. Bought a Rigid brand lithium ion battery powered drill and impact driver at Home Depot. A really well designed and well manufactured drill. Made in China. Lifetime warranty included, that amazingly includes the battery. Yes, it's true. You register your S/N after purchase and take it to a registered service center for warranty. I called my local service center and verified the warranty includes batteries. Simply amazing, I know of no other brand that does. Wife bought herself an iPad, $60 off, first time I've seen a discount at an Apple store.

Yeah, but that is like the lifetime subscription I got on my Sirius radio. It is the lifetime of the radio!!!! ;) Which was short. You will find that is the lifetime of the battery, whenever it stops working, or they will "prorate" it and charge you the difference.
