It's that old steer them towards the direction you want and let them think it was their idea or they had equal input and then agree. ;)

That is from the book, How to win friends and influence people.
I must admit, mine has always made more money then I do and not spent it. She would agonize over something she wanted(New camera) and I would just laugh and insist she just get it. And she knew I am a Tim the Tool Man type so the things I did were satisfying my need to "make it work". Plus most of the time I didnt blow up the house and it worked and saved us money.
Keep working on her, it is to good to be true.

She is pretty set on not taking a loan, she said if I can sell my car, I can buy it with that money. Now all I have to do is get rid of this damn car

Really thinking about getting that used harman mark 3, there is also a harman magnum stoker that popped up to for 1350. At that price it would pay for itself in the first season.

***Shameless promo alert***

So I guess the Mag I have in the classifieds for $1200 would pay for itself even faster than that.

I think we're hijacking the thread here, but I probably could offer free delivery between western MA and NEPA on Wednesday (12/12). Delivery to Rob's neighborhood would be extra, as I would have extra expenses for the bush pilot and sled dogs. But I could get it as far as Warrensburg on Friday.
