To save all your bookmarks in FF, go to bookmarks, show all bookmarks, import and backup, export bookmarks. Save the file to your desktop or somewhere you know where it is. Then when you install the latest, (17.0) just do it again but use import bookmarks. A lot of times it imports them alphabetically, why i never figured it out.

Well... I deleted cookies, thought for a second that it worked, but, no. So, I deleted cookies again, then saved the bookmarks, uninstalled Firefox, downloaded the latest version, installed it, imported the bookmarks.... it still doesn't work! The trick of using an old link will get me to new messages, but if I click the link to get to the board index, same message. Arghhhhhh!!!

AOL... I've been a member forever! Now that it's free I see no reason to change my email address.

A link that is not working, right click it, select "copy link location" and paste it here.

http://nepacrossroads.com/ap_index

Heyyy... You might be onto something.... this is the first time I noticed that it somehow adds " /ap_index " to the address. I type in "nepacrossroads.com" , hit enter & that comes up.

Same thing..... when I click on your link, it adds "/ap_index" & I get the message "not found"

I don't understand why it is adding "/ap_index" to the end of the URL.

Go into the Options, over to Advanced, and down to Cached Web Content, click "clear now". Don't be surprised if it takes a few minutes.

Opps, when you click on the Advanced tab, slightly below you can choose General/Network/Update/Encryption...go to Network and look for the cache section.

It's been 43 minutes...I hope you are just preoccupied and not trying to extinguish the flames from your computer after clicking that "clear cache" button. :)

I'm back! Had to go get Uncle Bill up & coffee'd.

Heyyy! That might have worked. I cleared that cache & now it seems like we're back to normal.

So, what caused it? Or should we not care.

Thanks to any & all that helped.
