A lot of people blame George Bush, Jr for a lot of things, and while that is debatable, I think his post-presidential interview question and answer shows how connected he was to reality...

He was asked, "What is America's biggest issue today, at which he said, "The Break Down of the American Family!"

Recently, Michelle Obama on National Television said the biggest issue facing America Today is...wait for this highly intelligent statement...Obese Children...

All I can say to the latter is: What The Fannypack are you thinking!! Obese Children is the worse issue we have in the USA today!! What planet are you on?

From the link posted, you can see that a lot of what we as tax payers are funding, is the break down in the American Family when it is all smelted down with only the dross remaining. And yes I am partly to blame as well: I have been divorced twice now so I do not judge others without judging myself as well.

I don't think the American dream was that everyone would make a billion dollars, but it was that everybody was going to have an opportunity and the chance to live a life with some decency and some dignity and a chance for some self-respect. The opportunities are far and few between out there as evidenced by unemployment today, as it rivals that of 1982 and 1983.

Right off the bat I think this is wrong, I raised my kids by example , I gave them the example of what not to do so this system would be perfect. Heck I could have been on welfare myself many times according to that but I guess maybe that's a horse of a different color . I see where there are a lot of doctors & judges that should be looked into, my wife is on SS disability & she had to go to several docs., get a lawyer & finally go before a judge & the judge granted it right there (which is almost unheard of) but under that system which I'm guessing is much like welfare some of the doctors, the judge & wouldn't surprise me the lawyer even gets some, all ends up on the tax payers dime. I see everyday all the handicapped spots are full but unless it's mental there are few apparent handicapped people using them. There is plenty of blame to go around & share in both parties, as unemployment goes up so does welfare just think how high it would be if UC wasn't kept high & long. It's a bunch of cowards for politicians & greed spread all across the system that keep it going.
