Good morning all, oatmeal & coffee is on my menu as well. I'm in the second strange winter in a row, only a few days of what I call cold so far so still running on propain but I'll be getting filled up soon & the sticker shock may cause me to light the match. The wife had a knee replacement the other day so physical therapy for a today & maybe tomorrow & then it will be my turn for payback, got the bell (with clapper removed) so she can ring when she needs me. Smitty "the democrat" is a good name for the movie since that's all they can do because Congress decided to play dead.

No... you missed the last 11 days! :)

That's not the first time that I've goofed the date....but once done there's no editing it unless someone knows a secret that I don't.

Smitty, slap yourself! You must have selective memory loss...:) I remember that beast giving you fits every time you turned the key!

That was the Jimmy. This one just had minor annoyances. ;) When I get annoyed, the problems seem much bigger than they actually are. Human nature, I guess. :)

No one else mentioned it, sooooooo I was really thinkin' it was for real!!! My cell date was correct, the computer, the weather channel...thought you bastards were playing me!

I know Fred would engage in Elder Abuse, but Freddy......I never would have guessed you could play into that! :eek2: :fear:  :mad3: :notsure:

Not a good day to fly to the Northwest.....6 to 8" of rain......where the hell was that when the place was onfire a few months back......

Sand truck just went by......only 2"......must be part of the new Federal Policy of safe and clear roads for every American, no matter what it costs.....

Smitty: Assume they are all JUNK no matter the Manufacturer or price paid! Ask any body shop how much the popular Audi's cost to repair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Volkswagen isn't much better......Mercedes...bohica!

FreeTown has it right with the 8N !!!

It's part of the plan to render your old, reliable workhorses into piles of rust, so that you're forced into a modern, clean, efficient pile of *censored* that can't make it 200 miles without a $200 dealership visit to clean emission filters .... :bang:

I use paper towels when I run out of actual basket coffee filters. Had a few days of S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder), or maybe mild P.T.S.D. ( Post Traumatic Sandy Disorder), but I know Fred will tell me to MAN UP :D
Been getting up real early anyway since getting used to feeding a generator at 6am for 2 weeks. Fixed a Stihl 021 this morning after the new fuel line came in. The customer is 80 years old, it's not the saws that are hard to start, it's God trying to tell him to let go of the firewood hobby. Also got the old Sears leaf blower fixed up with a new fuel line. Found a DeVilbiss pressure washer free and have to get to that soon. fixed my old work boots with 3M 5200 marine adhesive, glued the soles back on, clamped them up for a week. 5200 is the ultimate caulk.
Tried to drop another root mass back into its bomb crater but failed. It would take a winch or a dozer to put it back it seems. This one was a leaner so I was real careful about approaching it. another 2' diameter stem. I've heard stories about $8000 - $10,000 tree removal bills around here- tree guys are all gonna be driving new trucks. I keep driving the old 91 GMC and the 93 Ranger I guess. Extremely happy with the Sears 8gal output humidifier- it does the job and the humidistat is easy to keep at 40% or more.

I would love to buy a new truck but having a $700+ payment and I'm sure it won't run as good or be as reliable as my old POS I have now.Keepaeyeonit

A WHAT? Can a pick up truck payment actually get that high? I can't imagine. I've never had a mortgage that was close to that much!

Diesel option alone is $5,000 - that's more than I had paid for ANY car or truck up until I bought my Silverado! Motorcycles are another story though ...
