I'm glad to have been shopping at Advance Auto parts 100% of the time. Just hope they don't have the same policy ...

Boycott Autozone! I know I'll never set foot in their store again. It's time to show any company that will not stand for our rights that we will not stand for them!

i usually try to support the local auto parts stores and usually prices are better anyway. But occasionally I do stop at an Autozone on my way home. I never saw a no firearm policy sign. Then again I always carry concealed they would not know anyway. But after this I will never stop anyway. That kid did the right thing.

I agree - I'd have done the same, only I wouldn't have had to run to the car.

Man I won't be able to shop anywhere for anything if this keeps up.

I agree 100%

Although I am not a huge fan of Wal-Mart they are Pro gun and support the 2nd amendment.

Walmart is pro whatever makes them money if they could not make money selling guns and ammo and hunting gear they would probably be anti-gun, cause then they could make money selling "no guns permitted" signs

I tried and wrote this

It would not let me submit, it said to enter a valid comment. So now they will lose me as a customer and not know why. Guess they don't care.

As a former employee, I can guarantee they don't care.

I use our local Carquest. Its owned by an old ex-Navy guy. He bends over backwards to get me any part I need, at a cheaper cost than the other Parts stores in town. Every time I walk in, he has a good story from his days in Service, to bend my ear.

It's these types of businesses that are great to have around...especially when the owner get's involved with the customer...I would be willing to pay more for my parts in any situation that an owner showed this type of service!

When I go into an Autozone, it's to pick up parts. The only conceiled item I might have is a wrench and my pecker and half the time I can't
find either. Like Flyer 5 posted, who's even going to know? I would venture to say this is a moot point since 90% of people don't have conceiled weapons permits.
