Called around to local dealers on the WL110 coal boiler....Prices: $4195, $4299 and $4600. Wondering if I could purchase direct from the factory and have my coal dealer provide the shipping from PA and save some $$$....shipping would be $250...

Buy from a dealer. Make friends, you might need him in a pinch.
Factory would be Pa sales tax plus shipping.

Yeah, if you have a dealer near by, then I would say go with them.

We always try and sell our products through an authorized dealer, if there are none within a reasonable distance we are open to a customer buying direct as long as they are installing themselves and have the expertise to run the unit on their own.
Remember the dealer has an investment in retail space, service equipment and insurance, especially in today's economy we need to support those guys! :)

My dealer told me this summer that one of the owners of Leisure Line drove up and delivered some stuff. That's when I saw the 110 for the first time. That boiler is SWEET! I asked if he drove a dodge...........he said "You should've seen that big dodge truck he had!" I told him it must of been Matthaus. From what the guys here say..........that's all he drives. I wish I would've known he was coming up here. I would've tried to be there and meet him.

I think you got some decent prices for the 110. If that boiler would've been available 4 years ago........I probably would've got that instead of the K6. Don't get me wrong.........the K6 is an awesome boiler. The 110 has a much smaller foot print and has the oil gun to boot. :)
