I jinxed you PA guys!!

I knew if i spent the $ and time installing a coal stove, we'd have a warm winter. Same thing happened in 2010 after we got 80" of snow in Maryland, I went out and bought a sweet Subaru AWD Legacy. Maryland has not had any significant snowfall since. This weekend is supposed to be in the mid-60s in my area. So, no coal heat. Sorry guys.

Warm and wet here in MD today, even though I'm still working on getting my stove installed and just started the tile work i would like to see colder temps and I do wish we had another year with 80" plus of snow though, that was great !

Just remember, the fat lady hasn't sung yet. But hell, you guys are down in the south anyway

You know we don't start winter until the end of December anyways. You can mark my words , I think we will see a bad winter this year! Meaning good for us . We are due for one soon. If you look at the weather historically it goes in huge circles from warm to warmer and then it will slamn back into cold. I'm burning my coal stove today. My house stays cooler than outside in the day time and warming at night.

You can laugh at me if I'm wrong though


One day, soon enough, the time when you need the stove the most, you will be jumping for joy at the fact you have it

I have a system of predicting winter. I have a special dartboard, red bad winter, black good winter. I take a dart and throw it from 20' away. Over the years my system has proven to be the equal of all those expensive computers combined. This year I threw the magic dart and....... it landed in the bulls eye. Ah ha says I - an omen no less. What does that mean? I don't have a clue - you know just like the weather channel.

Eh... The world is supposed to end in a couple days anyway, isn't it??
