This link is broken, either the page no longer exists or there is some other issue like a typo.

I've been subscribed to his video posts for some time now and he is just silky smooth

I'm just a hack guitarist - but at least I have some musical blood - my uncle (father's brother) is Joe Beck, who's been a professional jazz guitarist for almost 50 years. http://www.joebeckmusic.com

My 'claim to fame' is I enjoy building tube guitar amps so that others that know how to play can sound good, LOL!

This amp is based around the early 50's Gibson GA-20 with a dose of early 50's Supro thrown in for good measure.

It's a bit of a one-trick pony - low volume clean tones, but as you turn it up, it gets dirty real quick. Can do some really nice greasy blues with P-90 pickups (which is what I built it for), and turned up to full dirt mode, it can do a nice Led Zeppelin imitation with a Telecaster.

here's a link to my stuff
the first 2 i think sound right.
the other 3 were from when i was first learning to record/mix.

I really don't know how many guitars i own. couple Guilds, couple Epiphones, couple fenders, lapsteel, basses, etc.

I only have a couple of amps, my favorite is a black face fender Princeton reverb, 1965. I got it free from a friend. Retubed (but kept the old), cleaned the pots, and new speaker.

Well it's not me... it's a very young version of a guitarist who usually gets a mention in the top guitarist of all time category. :) As in hes in the company Clapton, Hendrix,Van Halen etc.

The video is quite long, the guitar solo doesn't start until about 2 minute in, then really gets rolling around 4 min. I should have edited out the first part.

I sold all my older amps a few months ago and bought a new Fender GDEC 30 watt modelling and backing amp. Check youtube for videos of this amazing amp. Now I always have a bass player and drums when i play!

Mr Randy Rhoads I presume? Too bad about the leader (Kevin Dubrow) dying after a little too much partying. Guess even after all this time some people just make the wrong choice.

Definately got that Dylan feel. You using an octave effect on the vocals? Some sound eerie!!!

Went and saw Joe Bonamassa a few weeks ago at a local place. Voted Blues guitarist of the year, etc. Had Carmine Rojas as his bass player.....freaking amazing....best live show I have ever seen. This guy just oooozes talent. SRV would be scared.

I saw Joe in Milwaukee a few years ago. Jeezuz can he play! I have several of his albums. He's so low key and down to earth. He walked in the front door of the place (small club) and right through the crowd to the stage. Most people didn't realize it was him! He then proceeded to burn the place down! Wow.

Same kind of thing here. Tiny place..maybe 200 people in the crowd. His mom and other family in the front row. He's from Utica NY which is about 3 hours from me. The whole show was T I G H T.
