I tend to agree about the “Drugging of American youth”. We were once warned to beware of the ever growing military-industrial complex. Maybe we should be more fearful of the psychological-pharmaceutical complex. Every day a new “disorder” comes to light that requires years if not a lifetime of use of some new high cost medication that often has more dangerous side effects for some individuals than the original “disorder”.

Yet another poll on the liberal T&G. How scary is it that this many people WANT the government to trample on their rights, just solely based on emotion?

Smitty, that's just another one of those carefully thought out polls where you can't say anything but what they know most will say. I get fed up with those kind of things, my local Congressman is a master at it, he asks a question in a poll but unless you are totally un-american or a wacko there is only the answer he wants & then he can say that the overwhelming majority voted for this in my poll. What ever happened to the "other" choice & a box to write your remarks it?

can't say for sur, was not in school 50 or 100 years ago, but I seriously have to doubt that very many teachers today would condone the irresponsible use of a gun, like mass murdering people. On the other side, the NRA has not done much to promote responsible gun ownership, focusing rather on putting more guns in the hands of more people, and then, hope for the best, and hide out when the inevitable murderous disaster strikes someone somewhere.
