hi everyone I was poking around on craigslist and stumbled across a Tarm OT-35 wood/oil boiler with coal shaker grates I tried searching hs tarms web site and found nothing so I figure it is an older model so I did a yahoo search and still nothing so I figure someone out their might know a little something about this boiler

HS Tarm makes basically the best wood boilers, I don't know about coal. I do know they are usually really expensive so if it's cheap buy it. If you call them they can tell you everything you want to know, the phone support is great.

thanks for the info i'm waiting to here back from the seller he wants $500 for it but i'll try calling tarm tomorrow

I looked at a TARM years ago, very well made units. That price is a steal too. They are made in Europe and have support in TARM USA which is in New Hampshire or Vermont, I forget which. Their wood boilers are super efficient, a downdraft design as they burn the gases too, almost no creosote from them at all. If it burns both, you are golden. Tarm also has considerable experience with heat storage systems, let us know any details if you contact them. :)

They do not make coal boiler Anymore I believe they stopped in the eighties sometime parts my be hard to find here is there link
