Nibiru will wipe us out in the next three days. So I want to empty the bank account and spend it on cases of Dogfish and die happy. Like the fiscal cliff however, I will have to go to plan B as the wife told me not so be so stupid and go empty the manure spreader.... Well it was worth a try.

Well Camping went to Berkeley, the home of all the stupidest fruits and nuts. You know the land of tiny little gardens that three years ago passed an ordinance that you could have a 60' windmill in your garden as your right. Lt me guess now - yep they are libturds.

What was amazing was the amount of people Harold Camping duped out of money, their homes, etc..in the name of his religious doomsday BS. Really sad to screw people over like that and while some might say they deserve it for being that naive, it is still disgusting.

Sorry but Harold Camping may have attended Berkley, but he is a Republican Christian Conservative.
Maybe next time the GOP will run him? His views on creationism are right in the mainstream of Republican thought on science, and his ability to persuade large groups of "common folk" to believe things that turn out not to be true will help convince America that forcing 88-year olds to buy health care using a ValPak full of vouchers and coupons (Buy a Colonoscopy, Get Cataract Surgery for 50% off!) is really a good approach.

I worked with the geology dept there for 18 months - what bunch of morons and 101% liberal. Zero and I mean zero common sense. Nice town though and loved the climate. On the day he felt the Lord was coming back, 7000 Vietnam Christians went to a top of a mountain and awaited the Lord's arrival, unfortunately so did Vietnam Security Forces. They beheaded the pastors and massacred 7000 Christians that day; so many that bulldozers were brought in to did mass graves and have the bodies buried. When Harold Camping was told of these events he just shrugged it off.

It is disgusting because it says in the very bible that Harold Camping is supposed to know so well that NO ONE knows when the Lord will return. You can find it in Mark Chapter 13, verses 31-33. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.

This is why what I have said before on here is so important, we cannot follow the people that follow Christianity, we have to bring out the bible and read it, and get to know it for ourselves. A lot of evil has been done in the name of Christianity and even more will be done in the future unfortunately, but when we read the bible, what we are supposed to do is laid out quite well. We are told in the bible not to sell our possessions, and not to sit around waiting for the Lord to return, we are told to be involved in the great commission. Unfortunately for these people in Vietnam, access to bibles is not so easy as it is here in the United States, they took a preachers word and were killed for it.

But atlas Harold Camping is in far worse shape. Not because of his stroke, but because his future is spelled out in the bible as well. Mathew Chapter 7: 15-16 says it well; Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?

And to this God gives a final warning at the end of the bible, fair warning to all in Revelations 22:18-19 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

God is returning for sure, that is well laid out in the bible, but if anyone thinks they know when that will exactly happen, they don't know the bible very well.
