I took this one driving though some coalpit mining town through central pennsylvania on the way to a brewery tour.
phone pic, so kind of blurry
just before I saw the sign, I saw steam/smoke rising from a snow patchy field. I told my brother about the passage in Bill Bryson's "A Walk in the woods" where he hikes the Appalachian trail and calls the PA segment the "most desolate place in the world" and describes the fires.
then around the next corner I saw the sign. Had to stop.
