Simple solution, don't use wood pellets. They are destroying the forest in Maine anyways. Like there is anything left of a forest outside Baxter and a few protected places. And the state is cutting those because they are broke.

I am by no means against coal I love it and burn it, but do you have any idea how many acres of wooded land have been destroyed due to strip mining coal? wow

If you are to compare it to acres used for pellets it's insignificant.

Less than the Pa Turnpike, US 80,81,78,70 etc, etc. After
the stripping, the land will be restored. Not so with roads and development.
