Does anyone have pictures/specs/thoughts/advice on this? I found a used one and I am wondering if it would suit my needs.

The K-4 was a scaled down K-6 with about 91 MBH net output. It requires a 8" flue connector.
It was discontinued due to the KAA-2 was fairly close in capacity but lower cost.
The KA-4 still should be supported by Keystoker as it used standard parts from their stoker line.
It should be a fine boiler if in good condition.

I believe they could have also been ordered with a 6" flue when the KA-4 was available. If the 8" flue is a problem, you might double check this unit. It could have a 6" flue.

Anyone currently using one? Why were they discontinued? Is it a good boiler? I know Keystoker boilers are usually excellent but did they ahve problems with this one?

There is nothing wrong with that model boiler that I have heard. I looked in my old manual and the K-4 is rated for 96 MBH gross and 67 MBH net.maxpower_454 wrote:Anyone currently using one? Keystoker came out with the KAA-2 with a rating at 90 MBH gross and 76 MBH net. It was a smaller, more economical boiler for lighter heating load applications. There was no need for the KA-4 model anymore because it cost more than the KAA-2 and had about the same output.
