Gun control

For your run of the mill home protection, sure, the Glock is good. Intruder breaks in, hopefully your alarms work (mine are all battery powered and loud as hell) or your dog alerts you, and you neutralize the threat or hold them at bay until the police show up. If you live where my parents live, the closest police force is 45 minutes away. How do I know? 2 years ago a drunk/stoned 20 some year old kicked in their front door at 3 am. When my father confronted him with his Kahr .45, my mother called 911 to report the home invasion. The kid, who my father could tell was just really drugged out, was looking for a place to sleep. Lucky for him, my father is a kinder soul then I, and he scared the kid off. My mom called 911 2 more times and 45 minutes later a State police crusiser shows up. He then took off back from where he came from because he had seen a kid walking down the road about 2 miles away, and picked the kid up for my parents to ID. When the kids parents showed up the police officer told his parents, right in front of my dad, that my father had every legal right to shoot him dead right there on the front porch. 45 minutes. Imagine if the kid had evil in mind when he kicked that door in. My father told him that had his sons been visiting, he would not have been so lucky.

But these are evil times in which we live. There may come a time when the economy collapses and people are hungry, and willing to do whatever they need to do to survive. When that time comes, and it will, you will be glad you didnt just buy the glock, but opted for the high capacity rifle as well. You very well could be facing hoards of people starving and willing to die for what you have...

In the small town in which I live a bank and a gold store has been held up in broad daylight in the past week. Things are only getting worse.

Be a sheep, or be a sheep dog. The choice is yours. Keep your head in the sand and ignore it, or chose to do whatever is neccesary to survive the times that are coming.

Really dear lord that reminds of the movie the living dead with the hoards of zombies coming ... I guess you will need to buy a Glock and some rifles and learn how to switch clips efficiently then.

as far the "fun" factor goes with assault weapons... its fun to blow up ordnance in the field also (it does not mean i should be allowed to make, buy or set off bombs outside the military for the fun of it though).

If you pay attention to what is happening to our country, how some places aren't even accepting the US dollar anymore, how we continue to print more and more to pay debt with nothing to back it up, how countries are meeting behind the US's back to decide what they will use as currency after the US dollar collapses, you realize that it isnt a matter of if, but WHEN. And WHEN it does happen, things are going to get really bad, really fast. There are going to be 3 sects of people: the haves, the have nots, and the have nots that are going to do what ever they need to to get it. Imagine if you had no food or water, and you were watching your own children starving to death. What lengths would you go to to help them? Now imagine millions of people in that same boat. It will be similar to the Living Dead movies. Groups of people, hungry, thirsty, and willing to kill to get what they need. Stores will be taken over by heavily armed gangs, roads will be blocked by armed patrols waiting to ambush and take what ever you have.

When that time comes, you will want to have more then 7 rounds in your magazine and more then 1 gun. You will want a bow, you will want edged weapons, and you will need to find the inner demon inside that is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure you and yours survives and comes out the other side to a brand new world.

All super powers fall. History always repeats itself. It is only a matter of time. Will it be in our time? Maybe, maybe not. But I am preparing my children in the event that it is in their time, or their children's time. The tradition of survival will be passed on, as will the weapons and the know how to use them.

One day the wars will once again be on our shores...

And the wonderful part about being a free American we can prepare to fight the zombie hoards if that's what we want to do. It's our RIGHT!

I'm starting to think that the zombies are the ones that have drank to much kool-aid, and believe all the crap the media and the libs spue out.

My family has fought for our Country for many generations but dear lord im starting to really think we be needing some gun control around here now

I love ya man and i do get what your what your saying, we are both passionate, its eye opening and refreshing to hear and discuss this issue that our country is in the process of dealing with and lets both pray whatever is done is done with reasonable and intel;intelligent minds and with the same passion we all seem to have.

If your so afraid of your Gov. what the hell are you still doing here? You all make the U.S. sound worse than some third world country run by a dictator, just because the one you wanted in office lost your running scared or is it you have always been running? I may be an older person but I sure don't see what is being described here.
